I have been with them for 5 months.
Perfect paymentt history never late or over
    $215 balance on a $500 credit line

Is it too early to ask for a credit increase??

Do I have to wait 6 months

    thanks in advance

Unfortunately, yes. You need 6 months to the day that your account cycles.

At that point, be sure to write Capital One via PlanetFeedback.Com and ask for a credit line increase.

When the consumer advocate calls - ask him for a $1000 credit line increase and an apr reduction to 10.99%.

Cap1 gave me an automatic increase at 3 months. Five months later would not give me an increase. Said I had to wait one more month. Got an increase 6 months fron first increase.

I got an increase after a few months and now I am told I have to wait 6 months from last increase. I spoke with Mr. Cooke.
