I'm moving on up... I got pre-approved for a GOLD MASTERCARD from CAPITAL ONE (in todays mail)... Up to $3,000. 0% till November 2001, then 19.80%. $59.00 annual fee. One of these days I might just be pre-approved for something better... F.Y.I. POST #1500....YEAH DOING THE HAPPY DANCE. (I'M CELEBRATING WITH ANOTHER PEPSI)

Since 10/00, my limit on my CapOne Gold has increased from $200 to $500, and my APR has decreased from 19.X to 15.9%. Woohoo! At this rate, in a few years I may move up to middle subprime! <cough> <sucks> <cough>
Re: Capital One Updated George - I know you have huge credit limits on fine cards. But, I called Cap One, mentioned the AMEX, and here is what they did - granted I only had a $2500 SILVER card for about 3 yrs - Lowered my rate to 11.9 raised me to $3100 converted me to Gold at no charge. The credit line and interest rates appeared on the statement. I told them I didn't care about their Gold because I had Green AMEX - so they just snapped the upgrade for free. Not too bad customer service. dogman
