Okay so I've negelted this card for awhile since I spent my limit of 300 hundrend dollars its been adding interests now for awhile. The past two years I've offered maybe 2 or 3 times to settle this and they agreed on a certain set amount to end this. Well I had the money right in my pocket and told them i was on my way to the post office to make out a money order. They told me they don't except those only credit cards or debit cards. Well where I have bad credit i don't have a credit card obviously and a debit card? Well my ex decided to bounce a check once for 200 hundred bucks and later that week i gave him the money to repay it back to the bank well needless to say he didn't do it and i didn't know about it. SO living in a small town its the closet bank i have unless i want to travel a little over an hour just to find another bank. SO needless to say i don't have a debit card. Why can't they take a money order? They are just as good as checks but Guaranteed! Then they said they were puttin it down as failaur to comply? or something along that term. I don't get it.
So now from a 300$ credit limit i now owe close to 900$ and all i want is to catch up on my debit with this and other things i owe so i can get a new home because mine is NOT going to make it through another winter =[. Has anyone else Had this problem with Capital One? Any Advice? Please Help....
    thanks for reading,
    Kris

I would take the $900 and clear up my bank account and take the ex off ASAP.

Does it accept the cashier's cheque? I am curious to know why they don't accept a money order (as it is as good as cash).

Or, are they trying to take out money from your checking account via the debit card as they see fit to recoup any interest and debt?
