I applied over the phone for one of their (i assume, sub-prime) cards. Today I found out I was declined. Bummer. I don't know why yet but they are mailing me an explanation. Ch 7 BK discharged June 2003 Equifax score= 602 I have: car loan (3 yrs) 1 store credit card (retained) Target guest card (2 months now) $200 cl Orchard Bank MC $500 cl (opened in Aug) Student loans No lates on anything! Can anyone help explain why they declined me? I should also mention that I had a Cap One card included in my BK for $600. Could this be why? I heard that they were fairly BK-friendly though! UG!!

Re: Re: Capital One rejected me! We complained about some CAP 1 stuff through PFB and got a favorable response. It took about a month though. You might suggest that they start you with a secured card. Good luck! Poochie
