I have two capital one cards they are not reporting my credit limits. Is this a normal practice for them or they are just hosing me? Has any had any in getting them to report them?

This is normal practice for Cap1 not to report your limit. I am also under the impression that they would rather let you go as a customer than report your limit. To date, no one that I know of has had success in getting their limit reported via Cap1. You might try sending copies of your statements to the Credit Bureaus to get them to report it. I know some have had luck in doing this w/ their Citibank accounts.

    Use the words..."COMPLETE AND ACCURATE"...

If your credit limit is NOT printed, it is neither complete nor accurate.

If you spend $600 and have a "HIGH LIMIT" OF $800...you are 75%...A F.I.C.O. KILLER.
If you spend $600 and have a "CREDIT LIMIT" of $10,000...you are 6%...BIG DIFFERENCE.

I HAVE been successful in getting both Experian and TU to report the CAP1 limit. Just use the statements they send you in tandem with George's advice. It takes a few times, but you'll get there.

Capital One reports to Equifax for me, although it reports a higher credit line than I have. Which that is fine with me! I don't know why but they do.

2 answers...that is rounded up ($7,450~~$8,000), or that is your new credit limit that they have not told you about.
