It looks like Capital One is suing defaulted card holders just like Discover Card is. My local court database indicates that Capital One is suing for amounts as low as $500 and obtaining garnishment orders to recover the balances. The Wisconsin Court Database is at http://wcca.wicourts.gov/

So how do you search for Cap one and all their judgments?

I just clicked the I agree tab and on the next screen I searched capital one and chose a county so the search would go quicker.

Personally I would not have to worry about it even if I did default.

Cap One has always done this, if they think they can get any money.

All they would get out of me is a hard row to hoe..

From looking at case filings at the Wisconsin Court site, it apppears that Capital One started to go sue happy in late 2001.

....And with good reason. Cap. 1 did not have to unload nearly all of their sub-prime receivables like Providian did.

....So, they need to extract as much $$ as they can or log them as uncollectable E.g. Losses on the P/L portion of their quarterly report earnings to Wall St.
