I wrote a letter to capital one explaining a late payment on my DH, because it was an honest mistake of sending two payments on one account instead of on two seperate accounts. When I discovered the mistake, he called customer service and the fixed the problem. This was over one year ago. THey sent me back a nice letter saying they would fix the tradeline and it would read never late. THey have not updated yet. DH called yesterday and they have sent me a new letter asking for more Imfo????? Anyone have any ideas on how to hold them to their original letter? Really appreciate a response Patti
I don't know? They said they sent the letter on the fith. Waiting for the mail. They would not tell him what the letter says.
What more info could they possibly want? :O) :O) :O) :O) ==================== that's the name of the game, there is never enoughThe END ************************* LB 59
Patsy 123 I agree on sending them a copy of the original letter. I had them remove a 30 day late for me recently. similar story as yours. They did send me a letter detailing the removal from all 3 CRA. It took several weeks for them to send me the letter, but better late than never! pb
Thanks. They have not updated either. I paid off the balances on two cards and they have not touched them. Still have not received a letter.
