Recd my unsecured Capital One Gold card ($3 k limit) in September. This replaces my classic visa ($1 K limit) issued when I was filing for Chap 7 B.K. in November 1998. As promised, Capital One waived the $99 one time processing fee. Today, I called them and switched to MCI in order to waive the $29 annual fee. MCI cost the same as AT&T for my needs. So far Capital One has been great for me. Only 23 months ago I was filing a B.K. Only 19 months ago did I receive it.
Good for you but I've had enough of Capital One, and I closed my account today. There is no sense in waiting for them when others will give me what I want NOW. Having that Cap One card was just a liability. I'll never accept another of their offers.
