Honestly, I don't think you can. Then again, I could be wrong. Their online site is not really that advanced.

Try their automated phone system. Maybe they do it there.

Call their automated phone number one the back of your card. Then listen for the prompts. You'll get an instant reply.

I think a human comes on the phone when you select the line increase option on the automated system.

Nope..no human comes on the phone with the line increase...still automated!

At least not for me and I've used it twice.

I"ve put this in another thread..but it looks like it belongs here..

Follow the prompts as stated earlier and request the line increase...the first time, they said I was eligible for up to $600 but only gave me $100. I wrote planetfeedback and got the increase to $500.

Then, I tried again this month..got no increase..wrote planetfeedback and got to $900.

I like this step approach..automated phone request, then planetfeedback. Though I now have to wait 9 months..but that's o.k.

Good luck, all, and keep us posted, o.k.?

By the way,my last increase was officially there today.

There is no "on-line" increase option from Capital One.

There is an automated telephone option for an increase via their toll free number.

If you press the option for "information about a credit line increase", you will automatically be considered for one.

If you are denied by the automated system, you are prompted to speak with a rep if you want to. You then get transferred to a rep to talk about the denial and get more information.

    Marci,
How funny..I never got the prompt for a rep...

maybe I was too anxious to get to Planetfeedback after that step..LOL

Yeah the same thing happens if you choose the 'close the account' option; if they don't value your business, it goes ahead and closes the account automatically, otherwise you get a human in retention.
