    Does anyone out there know which credit report Capital One looks at when someone applies for a credit card? thanks in advance!

    I believe they pull all 3.

    I don't know abt. when you open an account. But when they have reviewed my account (in 2001) they did not pull tu.

    Is it difficult to qualify for a Capital One Gold card and is this a good card to recommend to someone?Thanks again!

    Cap 1 is stingy with their CLat the beginng, but most of us had to start with a subprime card. For subprimes they are the best, I believe, hands down. Plus you always want to keep your oldest card. Then as your time and your score go up the % rates are great. Mr Cooke has a big following on the board as being fair and the rest of CS is good also. I think that they pull all 3. Charlie

    For me, Capital One pulled Experian and TransUnion. I got a platinum card with a credit line of $7,500.

    They've always just checked Experian for me and four family members, who have or had cards ranging from secured to actual platinum (not toy)

    Cap 1 Gold is not very hard to get. Cap 1 gave me a visa gold with about 12 negitive lines on my credit report.
