I called cap 1 today, rep was nasty, anyway. You can not combine accounts there. End of discussion. I guess, I will have to keep two accounts the $400 limit account that I have had since 11/99 and my $2,000 account that I just got in 8/00. I hate saying good bye to the $2K account, I know I'm crazy.
I read on the previous page that you CAN combine. Did you call a second time and speak to someone else? As you know I have a secured card and then I just received a gold card and want to combine the 2 so I can keep my 2 year history. And who did you speak to?
I called a second time and was told yes that I could combine after having the second account for 6 months. The first rep as a b i t c h
