Re: Capital One, Mr. Cooke Ozzyburger. I think that Cap1 is going to lose alot more that just 2 customers..I think it's going to add up and start hurting them finacially. The reps act as if they could care less about account closings...it's almost like they think it's a privledge to have their lousy card(IMHO). Mr Cooke is a cool guy but i'm not sure he can make up for all the mishaps of the other idiots .
Re: Capital One, Mr. Cooke I gave him the opportunity to make up for them offering to close my card (via PFB) - and not a peep outa him, and it's been 3 weeks. I really thought (and kinda hoped) that he'd come through and say never mind about the $29 annual fee. But I still think CapOne is a great card to start with and if I wasn't so cheap, I'd stay with them - I was just so impressed with them over the CyberRebate disaster. Now I gotta see about getting a CL increase somewhere else to make up for losing this available credit - would just add insult to injury having my score take a hit over this! <g> Ozzy.
Re: Capital One, Mr. Cooke Ozzy, Sorry to hear about your experience. I too did not hear a peep from Mr. Cooke but when I logged into the Cap 1 website 2 days later, I saw the CL increase. I was grateful for his help and did not mind the lack of a call.
Re: Capital One, Mr. Cooke You need a $5000 limit to make it Platinum. I just tried to do it with 3 cards last week but because my oldest was only $1000 and a classic he couldn't. He told me to do so I would need a limit of $5000 and he couldn't bump it up that much. So with your $4800 Gold he could give you a limit increase and then make it a Platinum account or perhaps the combo of all them will do it. He can do this. Good luck.
