Well I check my credit report today and there is a capital one tradeline on it with the usual no credit limit. The problem here is I have no capital one card. I turned it down. What the heck is wrong with these people?

Applied online for the no hasslecard. They offered me this wussy $300 card instead. I called within 30 seconds and declined the card. They said no problem it was not activated anyway. I call one of their idiots and they say it will be listed as opened and then closed which shall we say hurt my credit score. I said no way I never opened it you offered the dumb card and I refused it. Look like I gotta go search for cookes info now.

    picantel,

They won't remove it...no way...they will rather die than remove it...same thing happend to me.

You can call all their idiots but it will stay on your report for the next 10 years. They want you to remember that you had account with them and maybe one day you will decide to reopen. They are sick...and I am sick too when I look at my report and I see that account from Capital One that I never opened, activated or agreed to the terms or used.

They don't have a choice. Just because a cc is offered does not mean they put it on your report or everyone would have tradelines for cards they did not accept or want. I wrote to mr. cooke through planetfeedback and gave him until next friday to respond. On friday I file a lawsuit in small claims. I never bluff and it will be filed. Period. So if you are reading this mr. cooke work fast because once it hits court I will not settle for anything less than 1k and deletion.

Ha! Try telling them that. Those bozos don't think the law applies to them. They do whatever they want to people's credit. Only way to deal with Cap1 is in court.

Anyone who deals with Cap1 risks credit nightmare!!! I avoid them like the plague now. I just closed mine and my wife's accounts with them. Who knows what they will put on our credit reports for that.

    Cap1 thugs!!!
