Well, with all of the Capital One buzz on the board today I decided to call them to see what I could do with my account. I've had it a little over a year and it has a $500 limit. The person I spoke with over the phone was nice. He offered me a $250 limit increase. I asked him about removing the requirement for the $49 deposit and he said that they could do that but they had to wait until 6 months after any credit limit increase. He offered to retract the extra $250 and give me the $49 back, which I declined. He also said he wasn't able to do anything about the APR. Does this sound like I'd get anywhere with planetfeedback?
