I sent a dispute to Capital One regarding an account and the information they reported to the CRA's over a month ago with no response.

Are the creditors held to the same 30 day requirements on disputes as the CRA's???

    Thanks for any info

I believe they are obligated to acknowledge the inquiry w/ in the 30 day time frame but I think it can vary from state to state as to how long they actually have to resolve as long as they are investigating the matter and suppressing finance charges and late charges. So the big question now is do you the proof showing that you sent a dispute to them?? Was it sent certified mail?
