Anyone get this letter in the mail? says i get a $300 line of credit to use at their mall? i can't find that info anywhere on their capitalonedirect.com site? anyone?
okay i got off the phone $300 Capitalone folks said, when you make a purchase at their capitalonedirect shopping store before dec 31'st. You'll get a $300 line of credit "Special" only for that store. It will carry no interest until like march of '01, afterwards 19.X%. There is a one time fee of $19.95 applied towards the "Special" line of credit for using this service. The Line of credit is considered "OTHER THAN" your credit or cash line of credit and is in some strange way a different credit line. Call them up if you haven't received this one. Not bad offer. $19.95 is about 3 months of interest at 19.8% of $300.
