    Sure,
Just search the board it is posted here frequently, along with retention. But before you "jump out" and cancel, call and see if you can get the yearly fee removed (or you will close the account).

After all it can't hurt to try if you are willing to cancel anyway and live with the hard inquiries you got on 2 different reports for getting that card (trust me, you did).

Your BEST bet is to do this through PFB and Mr. Cooke. He will even increase your limit if you nod and wink enough. You can also search this board for cap1 retention number and you may get the fees waved that way but you have a lesser chance of getting an increase through retention. In ANY case don't expect to have a WHOPPING increase until you start proving your track record, Cap1 is quite stingy with the amounts.

Then if you keep up with use and timely payments for 6 months (and then every 6 months) you can get your limit increased, your APR reduced.

I started with a Cap1 classic 500 limit and yearly fee waved in June 2001. I now have a $5000 Platinum card with no yearly fee and a nice APR.

Cap1 is a great card to rebuild if you play the Cap1 game.
