An FYI to anyone considering a preapproval from them: It's for real! I've got scores in mid 600's with a 5YO BK. I got a preapproval in mail and went to their site www.carfund.com to accept. They pre-approved me to $30K at 9.95% (not great but not awful either). I wasn't too bent out of shape about the rate because the DP requirement was $1K only. I went to a dealer on their list with the info required (one pay stub, phone bill, $1K DP) and picked out a 2002 Mustang, signd the papers, and drove the car home. It really was that simple.
- Not great, but tolerable given the low DP requirement - two friends have 'em 7 love them (no problems) - have had two CC's with them for a few years now, never any problems You just seem to pick fights with everybody don't ya? I think that's called not having a life. BTW - the point of the post was that the process works as advertised. If I needed input on what you thought about it, I would have solicited it - that means I would have asked for it in case that's too big a word for ya.
