It's not a great offer, but it's an offer. We BT'd my dh's CapOne balance to BofA @ 2.9% 'til July. That was the end of January. Today we got some checks in the mail from CapOne - no transaction fee, 9.9% 'til 10/02 and then 14.99% starting in November. His current apr is 15.4%. (but mine is 9.94%) Never got anything from them before regarding BT's or checks - guess paying off the account within a few bucks makes 'em perk up?? Ozzy.
How, Sam, how???? Seriously - what did you say to get this? Hhow have you been spending/paying on your account? Did you opt out of arbitration?
I hadn't used it in the last 3-4 months. I called him up told him i needed a promo interest rate to inspire some spending. BE SPECIFIC. When you call up say "i got 3.9% for 6 months on my other card, i want to use my credit with cap 1 but you gotta do better". bam Notice the 0% offer on new no-hassle cards these days..
