No not really, it's just the way Cap 1 does business.

Conduct a search here on this board and you will find posts detailing on how to get the CL reported.

It comes down to you charging to the max and than do a retrun of the merchandise.

SOME people have had results by sending a copy of the statement with the CREDIT LIMIT HIGHLIGHTED and ask them to make it ACCURATE (NO CREDIT LIMIT STATED...MEANS NOT 100% ACCURATE)

Then of course, they'll try to verify it with Crapital One and fail, so they'll gladly delete the entire tradeline for you (gratis).

PRETTY SOPHISTICATED HOME PRINTER YOU GOT...

NOT WORTH IT...but you could take it to a NOTARY "UNOPENED" and have the notary open it and state that the envelope was opened by HIM/HER and in fact is a true and complete statement...and HE/SHE is mailing this along with the consumers letter the consumer never touched the statement except in my presence and did not alter it in any way..and I as the NOTARY is mailing this letter from my office so our mutual customer WON'T SCAM YOU!!!
