Hi all, I recently moved from Illinois to Arizona, and the car insurance I had in Illinois doesn't cover Arizona. Therefore, I went hunting for new insurance. Not only is the car insurance double what it was in Illinois, but I'm finding that they are all checking our credit, and that is making the rates even higher! I've tried several, all with the same results. Why the heck does my credit score affect my car insurance rates!?! Any suggestions on companies that I can try that do NOT check credit scores???? This sucks!!!
Any suggestions on =============== Yeah buy your plane tickek now before they start using credit for that.
NO CLAIMS 30+ YEARS NO TICKETS 30+ YEARS NO ACCIDENTS 30+ YEARS YOU ARE HIGH RISK BECAUSE YOU HAVE POOR CREDIT!!! INSURANCE COMPANY--->"LOW SCORES CAUSE TICKETS, ACCIDENTS, AND CLAIMS" You will now have claims, tickets, and accidents because your SCORE TOOK A DUMP!!! YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO CONTROL THE CAR...THE INSURANCE COMPANY HAS THE REMOTE CONTROL...WHEN YOU GO BY THE SCHOOL ZONE AT 16 MPH...THE INSURANCE COMPANY FLOORS IT WITH THEIR REMOTE CONTROL...YOU ARE NOW DOING 54+ IN A SCHOOL ZONE AND HIT A PARKED CAR IN SOMEBODYS DRIVEWAY...THEN HIT THE POLICE CAR WATCHING THE SCHOOL ZONE!!!
Re: Re: car insurance/bad credit! some states (GEORGIA) have laws against this for auto. However i got dinged on allstate renters for this. makes alot of sense huh?
Try A+ AKA California Casualty. They are available in AZ. They do not ever check credit according to the CSR and they have awesome rates. I've been with them for about 7 or 8 years and they are great, pay claims quick, etc. http://www.calcas.com/Corporate/ Kim
Thank you Kim, I will contact them tomorrow and see what kind of rates they quote. I just can't believe that this is turning out to be such a big ordeal!!! So are all these inquiries going to bring my score even lower??? Probably!
Try Allstate. They did run my credit and I have a recent bankruptcy discharged in Nov of 2002, but this didn't seem to increase my rates with Allstate. I also tried Geico and Progressive and they both pulled a credit report. However, all of the insurance inquiries are coded as insurance inquiries.
Try Electric Insurance, too. Not sure if they cover AZ, but if they do you can get an instant online quote at www.electricinsurance.com I've been with them for five years and they're great. No credit checks and very reasonable rates.
