Check your state law but general you have to be 18 to sign a contract. You can't even co-sign for him. You could do a private sale, is there any family member that has an older car to sell? As for a CC there are a lot of pre-pay CC now being offered. I saw tonight that Cap1 offers a card to high school kids with you as a guarantor, so if they don't pay you will.
