I got approved for a Nord Plat visa end of last month and due to the High APR I have been waiting to negotiate with them to lower the APR before I will activate the acct. I pulled PG this morning and they are reporting? But I never activated the acct yet. What gives?

I HAVE HAD THAT HAPPEN BEFORE...

It will report EVEN IF YOU DON'T ACTIVATE THE CARD...

That is better than waiting 3+ months for it to show up!!!

It isn't applicable to your card that you are referring to, but Amex told me that non-active cards for more than 3 months will start reporting as tradelines on your reports.

I had both MBNA and Discover reported before even receiving the cards

hell household still reports on my 5 closed accounts, none less than 1 year closed. The last updated is still updated every month.

    odd huh?

real hard to get them off my reports.

but yeah mbna and such will report, as even if the account is real deal.

If you close it, expect to leave a litter mark on your report of an UNRATED account if it hasn't matured to rated. talk about ugly on your report.
