Called Carla directly to dispute an account that had an incorrect account number and ask for verification procedures...since I have been spending 3 months attempting to validate this BK discharged debt with absolutely no response... I politely introduced myself and mentioned that I left her a voicemail last Weds. She rudely commented that she forwarded my info to the dispute dept. I countered by saying that she was in violation of the FCRA by not satisfying my request for procedures and reporting a totally inaccurate account after I had submitted tons of documentation. She kept saying that it was out of her hands and the dispute dept would get back to me in due time. Since I was getting nowhere, I simply asked if she could provide me with the phone number to this creditor which was not even listed on the EXP credit report. She said 'no.' I responded by saying, "Ms. Blair, thank you for your time. That's all the information I needed. I look forward to a future meeting with you or your representative in court, after I file next week. Goodbye" P.S. - Based on reading Christine's site, I figured Carla was an appropriate point of contact since she was directly involved with that court case... Maybe I got her at a wrong moment...
