I just got off the phone with my county's Superior Court Clerk and she told me that in the past ten years, NO ONE has filed a bond with her! Here is the section of the code that deals with CA's and bonds: "Section 10-6-100 of the Official Code of Georgia requires that any person, corporation, partnership, association, or any other entity which engages in the collection of money from others as an agent for a third party post a bond as as security in the amount of $50,000.00 with the clerk of the superior court in the county in which its principal place of business is located." Does this mean they only have to file in their county, no matter where they are? Someone please help me understand. Thanks
If i read this correctly it starts off by saying they don't need a bond but it seems to say they do at the end. Don't know about you but i am confused.
