Was wondering what's the PP for a CA when they do a hard inq every month? The only inq's i have on all 3 CR's for the past 2 years are a from a CA who has never even contacted me yet has been pulling my report every month for the past year.
They think you owe them money! If not, they are pulling the wrong per$on's report. Are there people out there you owe that you haven't heard from?
Here's a novel idea--send them a validation letter. If they can't validate the debt, they really can't say their PP is "collections." One could make a good argument that they have no PP and you sue them in court for the illegal pulls.
maybe i didn't explain myself very well I'm trying to figure out why a CA can pull your report more then once, PERIOD.. beyond an address, there's really nothing in the report that is really relevent to collecting a debt is there?
I would think because the plain language of the FCRA does not limit the number of pulls.
