This morning I was going through some discussion boards on Collection website's. I just can't believe some of the stuff I was reading. I can't believe how truely unknowable some of them are. The have the FDCPA right at their disposal, and they don't even know the laws that pertain to their business. some of them are so set in their ways thinking that they are right (self righteous), that they misinterpet the FDCPA to fit there needs. It's really unbelievable. There were a few that actually seemed to be decent and were dicussing with other members how to go by the laws and deal with consumer's respectfully, but not many. They wonder way consumer's have such a bad taste in there mouth over CA's. just had to vent a little. thanks for listening. kathy
Well Kathy..that is the thing with any law or statute....there is always room for interpretation. If that wasn't the case, there would be no need for lawyers or courts
