I am a newbie here so I will introduce myself. I am from Louisiana and do not have any debt issues to resolve. I post on a few boards to help out with posting the correct info to help persons with credit and collection problems.I am in search of caselaw that defines what is proper validation of a debt in the eyes of a court. I will take state or federal. Full case opinion is not necessary,just point me down the correct path,please.
Brennon vs Spears is the classic case for definition of proper (and improper) debt validation. I have not searched the "stickies", but I am sure it is posted in this forum.
