Has anyone tried using American Express Bill Center for getting a cash advance that acts like a purchase ? It seems possible to designate oneself as an authorized biller. (Of course it's not a 100% cash advance, you'd still need to withdraw it from your checking account if you wish to have the money in your hands, but at least you avoid the exorbitant fee charged by the credit card issuer) Saar
