Cash Advance Limit on FCNB

    Effective March 15TH 2002 the amount of the credit limit available for cash advances on this account will be 50% of total credit limit.

    50% IS BECOMING STANDARD...but I've seen some cards with $250.00 on a $5,000.00 card...

    George,
    Every bank give you 25% to 50% cash advance limit out of the total credit limit .

    My banks gives me 100%

    I have 100% on MBNA...I don't know about others because CASH ADVANCES ARE POOR MONEY MANAGEMENT...

    Citi gives 100% for cash.

    Hi Ron, George, LKH - I saw that on my bill I got today. So they limit us beginning March 15. Shows a strong sign FCNB has been cut loose from its parent. Now it needs to get sold or make some money - and retain cash....

    Expect to see continuous changes now from FCNB.
    They are solid though - I expect they will be bought.
    They are fine - but I don't carry a balance on any cards.

    I have 100% for cash on Citibank Aadvantage Gold, 20% on plat. select, 100% MBNA, 30% Nextcard, 100% Orchard, and $100 on a CL of 7700 with AT&T. Banks are all over the board on the % available for cash.

    Sorry, I forgot my MBNA Quantum Card and Barnes & Nobles give me 100% cash advance limit out of my total credit limit. BofA Platinum Visa and MC also give me 100% cash advance limit out of total credit limit.
    Not Citibank, Nextcard,Discovercard.

    That what I have seen on my FCNB Eddie Bauer MC bill today. They didn't say anything about FCNB is for sale.

    Hi Ron - I know that did not show up on the statement. We know that FCNB is for sale from other articles and news.
