I got Citibank AAdvantage card today and its cash advance limit is same as total credit line.I was approved Citibank driver edge card one month ago and ratio for cash advance limit to total credit limit is only 20%.My Amex cash rebate card has 10% (ratio for cash line to total credit line).
Congratulations. MBNA has a 100% cash advance and I have a few others, like Chase and First Union. http://www.creditsense.com
My experience with Providian was strange. On a $500 card, they gave me a $265 cash advance limit. As they raised my credit limit to $1800, the cash advance limit remained at $265. Then, after a couple of months, my statement showed that the cash advance limit had been raised to $1800, which was 100% of my credit limit.
My Providian has always had cash advance limit equal to total credit line. On the other hand, I have an ATT Universal card with a 5K limit and a $100 limit for cash!
