They are the local office for Experian and I've been trying to contact them for 2 days - I keep getting the message that due to high call volume they can't take my call now. How incredibly annoying to have to call them about an error they made and have to keep calling them back 10 dozen times.

    Just venting...

Maybe their phone lines are melting, LOL.

Something's going on - I spent all day Monday and Tuesday trying to get through and I couldn't. It's sooo darn frustrating.

I want to talk to them - maybe they can just do what I need over the phone without me having to go through another reinvestigation (they have 2 mortgages listed as open when they've been paid for 1 1/2 years on one and 4 months on the other - so it looks like I'm $100,000 plus more in debt that I am).

I hope persistence will pay off, but in the mean time, I'm keeping the phone close to the computer so at least I can amuse myself while I'm on hold!

CBA is the worst! They FORCE you to have to write thru snail mail. I have been extremely frustrated with them. They NEVER answer the phone. You get the same message for days and days. They absolutely will NOT accept faxes, either, even when you have urgent matters (in my case, the identity problem which every time it pops up I want it handled immediately). They tell you one thing and do another. They tell you something is 'fixed' and it is NOT.

We all probably could sue them for their inaccessibility if we kept records of all the times we've tried to call and couldn't get thru. Sure, they have a phone# but it is as good as useless. The very least we could all do is send complaints to the FTC. There are plenty of Creditnetters who have to go thru CBA for their Experian problems that the FTC may take notice of this and do something.

Heck, I'm all for filing a complaint - this is day # 3 and I still cannot get through. The office opens at 8:30 - I started calling at 8:30... had to take an hour off of dialing fruitlessly to take my cat to the vet, but I'm back and I STILL cannot get through.

But since you said you've had trouble too, I think I might as well just give up, and write them, but then there's that 30 day junk again. <sigh> I thought this would be simple to fix with a phone call. Might be - if I could ever get through.

I've never had problems talking to a real person at Equifax or TU, so at least all 3 of them don't suck.

Well holy cow, I got through. Went to their website and called each and every number listed there. Got a real, live person FINALLY!

He was really nice - took my dispute over the phone - which was nice, but I was disappointed 'cuz I was hoping maybe he could just fix the situation since the stuff was JUST verified but it was wrong. But no such luck. I figured it was just wishful thinking anyway, but I had a small ray of hope.

Anyway, after all my bellyaching, I just wanted to indicate that they do actually have live people working there and their phone is working!
