Oh thank you thank you they are going down. I sent in validation for a NCO financial systems debt. I know you guys have tons of problems but with me they were really nice. They sent me a notice of deletion while it was under validation. I faxed it into cbc and they did not remove it. I called today and asked NCO if they got the validation. They said they did not and notified all the CRAs on july 11th ONLINE that they were to be deleted. IT is now gone from experian and TU but equifax refused to remove the account. I told the NCO guy who worked in their credit bureau that equifax is giving me problems deleting and he said they were the worst to deal with and he had problems with them alot about deleting info that should be gone. I am gonna call cbc at noon and give them a choice. I have the paperwork and a major(probably the largest) CA in the states stating they do this all the time on tape.

Before you threaten anybody, why don't you ask them how long it takes. They will tell you anywhere from 30 to 60 days to update. So, when you call them, ask them where do you fax the letter. If you fax it to the correct # it should take no more than 5 days.

It was done the 11th. That was 8 hours ago. This is beyond just this. They send a buncha UDF stating the verifications were correct. Some of the UDF had no signature, or no box checked that menat validated and some of them had dates crossed out with new ones. The lady on the phone also refused to do a reinvestigation and said she would just make a copy of the past dispute and send that out even though I sent in proof the debts were bogus. I am calling at noon and giving them one more chance.

    Ok here goes.
About 2 months ago I disputed about 7 items I believed were either incorrect or fraudlent on my wife's credit report. Her SS# was mixed up with someone elses and they had bank accounts and other stuff under her name she never had. Experian and transunion deleted just fine. Equifax, done through cbc credit services, verified everything. I sent a complaint to the BBB and they sent a copy of the universal data forms they they 'received' from the CAs or OCs. Some of the forms were either not signed, not checked off in the verification box, contained outdated materials, or had the dates changed. For example, they said they verified a cc we have never heard of and the cc has never contacted us because it was not hers. On july 11 we got the results of one of our investigations with NCO. They sent automatically online a notice of deletion and sent us a letter stating it was to be deleted. My wife faxed the letter of deletion over to CBC and they have done nothing. Transunion still had NCO but deleted it 2 days after receiving the fax. Also, cbc(before I know about sending certified) lost 3 disputes and 2 pages of another and they said the post offices loses their mail alot. They gave me a fax and it took 3 weeks to go through. I tried calling but for a week their phone lines have been down but when I called another CBC they called through and the excuse was a bad phone line. Pretty much they are blaming their phone servvice and the post office. The guy at NCO that deals with them states on tape that he has alot of problems with equifax not deleting when they should. I will let everyone know what happens this afternoon. My biggest shock was how nice NCO was after I heard all the bad things. They did everything to the letter of the law.

If it's the CBCS of Columbus, OH, I've aqctually had very, very good luck with them. They have removed collections thshouldn't even have been on the report in under two hours. They are also the local Equifax affiliate in the area.

WEll I talked to a lady who was not the nicest. She said they never got anything from NCO stating deletion and they have no notation of receiving my fax letter of the deletion. What should I do now? I have had it with them.

If you have the transmission confirmation report (from your fax) send a copy of it, along with a copy of the UDF from the CA to CBC. Send CRRR. Let them try and claim they didn't get anything this time. Another option you could run is go to Kinko's fax from them, then you'll have a 3rd party confirmation that they received the fax. Include that with your UDF and original fax confirmation. Show them you're charge, not them.

I was also thinking of maybe trying their corporate office(equifax). Does anyone have the number for their head office. Thanks.

CBC Credit Services is just about the biggest cluster?!@% I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with. They are all nice, but it appears to me that they have to pass an IQ test for a preemployment screen. Yep, you're mildly retarded, YOU GOT THE JOB!

They have made me so bitter! I'm sure this is hard to tell though (ha ha).

I have been dealing with them and they have also been giving me the run around.

Could you supply me with the fax number that you are using for CBC Credit Services in Columbus? I would like to try the kinko's third party tactic.

I've never faxed them anything in the past, I have hand carried it since they are about 5 minutes walking distance from my office. I've always dealt with a supervisor by the name of Rose and an employee at some level by the name of Kesha and Chris. They usually do what I tell them to, if I'm right. Just don't let up on them and don't accept "no" for any reason. Most of my business with them was conducted on the telephone.
