i had a credit card in 99 and it had a credit line of 5xx.00 and i had stayed current on all the payment until one got late by like 2 days.... without my knowledge they cut my credit back to 3xx.00 and i had already spent well into the 4xx.00 range. they fckd me pretty good 29.00 overlimit fee and 29.00 late payment fee. i was not rich at the time then or know so i gave them teh big finger after i tried to get them to quit screwin me but no luck.... so know 2004 and 3 collection companies later they have reset the date of life to 2/2/2004 making it look new. I had it in dispute with the last agency and my score was looking good... but know because of this it has dropped my score by like 90 pts and really got me pissed off!!! what can i do to get this shit of my credit report all together... 1. i belive i should send a certfied letter to the new agency disputing the validity of the debt and ask them to validate this. 2. i believe i should attempt to do this 3 times and then turn it over to exuifax 3. I believe i should put it in dispute with equifax. 4.i believe i should tell equifax the debt is illigitement . help help help help what should i do
