I don't post here often, but I've gain a wealth of information from this forum. Thanks to the knowledge I received here, our FICO score is 673! Here's my question, after cleaning up my credit reports, I obtained a copy of my Experian today and it has 2 inquires from collection agencies for accounts not listed on my report. Is this permissible? How do I dispute?
It is permissible for collection agencies to do that. They can claim they were skip tracing or any one of a number of reasons. And they can get away with it easily. You can try claiming impermissible reason, but it may not do you any good. Don't hurt to try, however.
