After reading all the negative things about CCB, I have this question: When they "ignore" a payment that has actually been made and charge late fees, does this show up on your credit report? Especially if they say the payment was only a day late?

They didn't with us...in fact, after complaining to the DE Bank Commission, they bumped or credit limit by 500..the question remains...are they crooks, or idiots?..

We have since closed the account and got it in writing...

Late payments typically don't go on your credit report until you are more than 30 days past due. This is a relic of the olden days when most credit was installment credit.

With CROOKS COUNTRY BANK you never know what to expect. But closing your account was
the best thing you could have done, and
getting it in writing was very smart. This
is what everyone needs to do with CCB.
Those people who are with CCB now need to do
the same as soon as they can. If you are using them to repair your credit, as soon
as you can dump them, they will only hurt
you worse. The percentage of the customer
they screw as to the ones they don't is to
    high to take a chance.
