Anyone know how many items one is allowed to dispute over time (not all at once) before the CRA's start to call the disputes 'frivolous'? Do they maintain comments on all of the times you have sent dispute letters in, or simply look at each dispute as a seperate item? I'm wondering because I had disputed an item a few years ago that came back as "confirmed by credit issuer", and wanted to give it another shot at getting it removed. Any info will be appreciated.

Credit reporting agencies are supposed to report accurate information, so if it is wrong DISPUTE...DISPUTE...DISPUTE TILL IT IS CORRECT.

Back a few years ago I sent in disputes every time I asked for a credit report.

MOST OF THE DISPUTES WERE TO REQUEST THE REPORT SAY

    "ACCOUNT CLOSED BY CONSUMER'S REQUEST"
    BALANCE $0
    NEVER LATE

(I STILL HAVE ACCOUNTS SHOWING AS "OPEN" THAT HAVE BEEN CLOSED FOR YEARS)

THEY MUST THINK MY REQUESTS FOR "A.C.B.C.R."
    BALANCE $0
    NEVER LATE

    IS FRIVOLOUS???
