WHAT DOES THIS MEAN? I disputed my repo with creditexpert and they changed everything to this, does anyone have a clue as to what they are doing?

They did the same thing to me. I am currently disputing again with Equifax. I tried Experian but they don't do online investigations. Depending on the outcome for Equifax then I will dispute again with TransUnion and send the proof for a reinvestigation with Experian.

They do this to keep it on the report without it really being a "negative". The account is unrated therefore not really damaging you. But it still is.

I am trying a different approach with them. I have filed a few complaints against them. When I get the results, I will definately post what happens.

    Hmmm...here's my guess.

The creditor didn't respond in 30 days and instead of deleting as the law requires, they pulled a stall tactic by noting the account as "no status".

If this is the case, EX has broken the law and can be sued.

Keep the good ole paper trail!

Having you tried calling them and asking what does all this mean. I would. I would also demand deletion.

Have you sent validation to the CA?

I got a bullshit item for 72.00 on my file from a Collection Agency in Flint, MI "Merchants & Medical and it's funny I have the same tag line

"Account in dispute under Fair Credit Billing Act"

I didn't ask for this... I wonder if these two Collection agencies are the same... I'm going to get my ammo together. I disputed with EX and it came back as verified, and remained unchanged... Have to fire off my validations.. This is bullshit because the Fair Credit Billing Act corresponds with Retail Credit... This debt is a dispute with a Storage facility.. This is deception of a Federal Law Right???
