I have a CA calling and leaving messages on my cell. I state clearly on the greeting "You have reached my cell phone", but they keep calling and leaving messages. I sent a letter to them

    Dear Sir/Madame:

In accordance with my rights under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, please take notice that this is my formal request for your office to cease communication with me by phone. I have recorded twelve messages on my cell phone left by Jerks name, when the greeting clearly states this is a cell phone. Should your office find it necessary to communicate with me regarding any activity on this account, please do so in writing at the address above. I know my rights under the FDCPA and since you have my current address, there is no need for you to contact any of my neighbors or family on this matter.

    Sincerely,

I have recorded two more calls since they signed for the letter, they call at least four times a day still but leave no message. I am afraid to take them to court over this because the debt they represent is less than a year old and I owe around 9k, but I don't have a job right now and can't pay yet.
What are your thoughts on this situation?
    Thanks

A little more info. The CA calls in this order everytime: 800# then will call right back with an unknown #, then will call right back with a private #. He has left a voicemail with all numbers and I have them all recorded. I got my green signed slip back and it was dated 5-29, so this guy doesn't care if it costs them or not. Should I let them keep calling, or should I start action soon?

At least you know who is calling you. I get one that blocks the ID from my cell phone. Of course they leave a message saying they have an important personal business matter with me. I am not going to start talking to them because then I have a conversation with a CA. They call twice a day everyday including Sunday morning and night.

I had one do that to my home phone and I would pick it up and ask their address and nothing more. They would babble on and all I would keep saying is "what's your address" I finally got it and sent them a letter, they never called back after the letter
