    Hello all:

I was just wondering if anyone had any experience with Centennial Bank? They offer an unsecured card, but seem to charge some pretty stiff fees. Still, for a starter card, it might not be too bad (especially if it'll add a positive trade line).

    Thanks,

    A. J.

get a cap 1 secured, or a paypal/providian/aria visa card before you throw all that money in the toilet!

Well, I feel kinda silly now... just did a site search on the board and found a ton of messages (some good some bad) on them. I have a Capital One unsecured MC ($200 cl) but wanted to add another positive tradeline now while my score was low in an effort to further improve it in the long run.

    Thanks,

    A. J.

if you have 6 months on the cap 1 tradeline wise, i'd go for the paypalcreditcard.com version of providian.

    It's got a grace period.

Or get another cap 1. You can have a bunch!
