I have a validation letter that I mailed to a reporting OC almost a month ago, but it has not been delivered yet. I do know that this company was bought out recently. Would you send a second letter, or wait until I got it back undeliverable. I guess I could then ask the CRA's how they are verifying if mail can't even get to them?
well, the post office will usually hold for 30 days for them to pick up. i would wait until it was returned undeliverable, make a copy of the envelope and send it to the CRA's asking how they were able to validate.
I always make copies of the receipt superimposed over a portion of the letter that I send to the CA. This way, they cannot dispute the information contained within the letter, nor the tracking number for the certified mail. Have you visited http://www.usps.com and tried tracking the letter? Perhaps they might have lost it? What's the chance of that happening??? Col. K0rn
Yeah, I tried tracking it. It's stagnant. I put the certified RR # on the letter in another reference column.
I've noticed that at times when I've sent more than 1 certified at a time, none of them update on the web site, until they all do. I've even got all three green cards a week before I got the information from the web site. But at least then it did say the exact time that it was signed for...
I looked up all of them. They were all sent at the same time. I got all of the green cards for all but that one and the web has them all updated except for that one. That's ok though. It's just fuel for my fire when I back them into a corner and aske how are they verifying? I don't even think a the oc exists at that place anymore....I dunno
