My Ch.7 will be discahrged in July and I plan on repairing my credit a couple months after my discharge. Here is my question: If you improve your scores after BK to 650 - 700+ but still have your Ch7 BK listed in your public records how will creditors view your status as potential cleint? For example, if I apply for auto loan and I have a score above 650 I feel I will be approoved for a above average interest rate but since I show a BK on my report will it matter what my score is? Thanks alot!
It will vary from lender to lender. Some won't touch you with a BK. There are many who will, but, you'll no doubt pay more interest than someone without a BK. The more down payment you have, the easier it will be to get that loan.
