Does anybody know if it is possible to change a MasterCard to a Visa?
Our Sams Club recently started accepting Visa (not MasterCard). I would really love to do some Christmas shopping there but ALL my credit cards are MarsterCards for some reason. Any ideas?

If in your case you find it is not possible to change any of your MC's to visa, I have another thought for you. You could obtain a stored value/prepaid visa and pay with your mastercard. I just signed up from one that I'm trying out.

It's called the EVERYDAY FUNDS card. I'll let everyone know how it goes with it. You do not have to be a AAA member to obtain it. There is a 9.95 annual fee for AAA members and 12.95 annual fee for non-members.
The nice sounding thing about this card is that it will not only be accepted through the visa system but supposidly at PIN-based merchants who accept interlink. You can load the card via Visa, MC or ACH. I hope this helps.

It is very possible. I changed a couple of cards around before I traveled internationally. If the bank issues both cards they can easily switch it over for you. You may want to buy gift cards at Wal-Mart with your MC since Sams Club takes Wal-Mart gift cards.
