Does anyobody know if it's possible to change ownership of an account at a CA? I have a derog that was originally from an auto insurer. The account was in my name but I got my younger brother some coverage for his car of which he fell behind in his payments. When I was billed for the two cars, I just paid my portion and advised the insurance company that my borther was having dificulty paying so I cancelled his coverage. Although I maintained my monthly payments, the insurance company finally closed my account and took me to a CA. My brother is willing to have this reported on his credit history while he paces out some payments so I was looking at calling the CA, or the insurance company to try and do just that. Before I do, I wanted to know if you wonderful credit pundits and guru's know if it's possible or not or have suggestions to resolve th dilema. Thanks.
