I asked this before and got no response, did a search and it was inconclusive, so, how does a charge card affect your fico? If I am charging everything on my amex and have no balances on any other card is that considered 0% utilization or do charge cards figure into the puzzle? I know I probably didn't get any answers before because it was inconclusive(no one knew for sure) but if anything knows anything about charge cards and fico please fill me in.

    Thanks

My AMEX Green shows up on my credit report as a revolving account (on all three agencies). Each month it shows my current month balance, so it appears I have $8-10K additional revolving debt. In reality, that is money I spend on business and other expenses and pay off each month. I agree it's not an accurate representation of 'revolving debt', so it's just one more way the CRA and FICO hose our numbers. Not likely the answer you wanted to hear, but it irritates me too.

so a charge card would be a bad thing then?

anyone else have it reported like this? I heard they reported as open, but now I don't know?
