After several years of high medical billings I am finally at a point where I can start to attempt to repair me credit report. Ordered my 3 reports and noticed that I have 4 charge offs ( each less than 1500 dollars). If I contact the original creditor do I have a single chance of negotiating with them and see the charge off removed from my CR in return of a settlement or full pmt ? Any suggestions ?

How old is each one? You may be past the SOL, or close to the 7 year mark where it naturally falls off.
3 are in 2000 and 1 is 2001. still far from being removed from my CR, that is why I am wondering if I should attempt to negotiate a pmt and see the items removed.
I would reccommend you read all the posts lbrown has listed in that last post. Then, evaluate your situation. I would start the validation game if it were me and let these folks know that you know what u r talking about. They need to validate why they have reported you to the CRA's.
