I gave my cc number to a sports information service and authorized a charge on it but when i asked if they had a refund policy and was told no, I told them not to authorize the charge. They did anyway. Can i dispute this charge of $1000 successfully? This company is 2500 miles from where I live and I thought that may help me in the fact that the Providian dispute form says something about that and it seems important. I know I am stupid for getting suckered by these crooks into sport selections but anyone that can help I sure would be grateful.
