Its true! I successfully used my Nextcard today at Circuit City to buy a bedroom TV - a SONY 24" Flat Screen. The card worked,,, LOL!

    Now - will the site?

    Saar,

I think dogman is saying since the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. had to take control and shell out over 500 mill. It's not Nextcard Visa but FDIC VIsa.

    "FDIC Visa" was Dogman's joke.

No point in explaining a joke, Mirage, first, because NextCard's fate is common knowledge here, and second, because explaining a joke usually kills it.

    :)

Saar, sorry about that, just re-read your post and FINALLY noticed the ROFL at end of your comment.

God do I need coffee in the morning.

Hi guys! I had experience because the Gary Condit Visa went the same route.....aarrffff!

FYI - I got lucky and got through on the Nextcard site and click-payed the TV balance. I bet the FDIC doesn't take 10 days to clear a bank authorized
    e-payment!

    Best regards - dogman
