I have a debt that has been charged off, and because I am obviously 'newatthis' ...... What is the best route to take when disputing a chargeoff that has been paid? Should I dispute that the amount has been paid, or the entire debt? I of course would like the entire tradeline deleted, but second best would be to get the TL to state that the debt has been paid (which it does not indicate at this moment) Thanks so much for your help, this board is great!
I nutcased several of my paid charge offs. I was successfull in getting a few off with the first round.
