Hello everyone, I have a question regarding a chargeoff. This was sent or sold to collections and I paid it off. The OC lists this on my credit report as a chargeoff and shows the balance charged off. Is there any harm in disputing this with the OC? I am concerned that they may still consider a balance owed and try to collect. But if I paid the CA, then this debt is paid. Is this correct? Also, would you recommend disputing with the OC (nutcase letter?). Thanks in advance.
